Firstly based out of Markham (Ontario, Canada) The Yoga Mat is an internationally recognized yoga school that specializes in 200 and 300 Hour Intensive Yoga Teacher Training Programs both in Canada as well as tropical destinations such as Thailand.
Programs offer a very traditional, authentic approach to Living and Teaching Yoga. These programs are intense, challenging and extremely rewarding. The team of Yoga Experts is experienced, professional and dedicated to making your Yoga Teacher Training the absolute best.
The Yoga Mat School program is based on The 8 Limb Path of Patanjali. We immerse ourselves in all areas of yoga techniques, with deep focus on home practice and meditation.
The training programs are offered in English and a copy of The Yoga Mat Training Manual is provided to every student that participates.
